Football Game Preview: Macon Tigers vs. Highland Cougars

Macon has gone 9-1 against Highland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Macon will be strutting in after a victory while Highland will be coming in after a loss.

Macon's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over Clark County. That 21 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Highland challenged Centralia on Friday. The Cougars had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Panthers are ranked 84th).

The win got Macon back to even at 3-3. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
