Soccer Game Preview: Classical Academy vs. Santa Fe Christian

The Classical Academy Caimans will face off against the Santa Fe Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Classical Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Santana just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Caimans have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Knights are ranked 431st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Classical Academy's draw makes their record 3-3-3 this season. As for Santa Fe Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
