Soccer Game Preview: Sanger vs. Hanford

Sanger has won six straight games at home, while Hanford has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Sanger Apaches will welcome the Hanford Bullpups at 3:00 p.m. Sanger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Sanger is headed into the contest having not lost since December 7 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Clovis North finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Abby Cano and Kaylynn Foltz scored both of Sanger's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Hanford was able to grind out a solid victory over Porterville on Friday, taking the game 3-1. Given the Bullpups' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Panthers are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanford's win bumped their record up to 13-1. Sanger's draw gives them a new season record of 10-1-2.
