            Baseball Recap: Discovery Titans vs. Mountain View Bears        
        
		
        
        
            Discovery made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mountain View, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Titans fell just short of the Bears by a score of  4-2 on Friday. The Titans' defeat continues a  trend for the  squad, making it 12 in a row.
 Santiago Daal was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he  struck out 12 batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Those  two  earned runs gave  him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 Daal wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Wesley Pawlak, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double. That  double marked the first that  Pawlak has  hit this season.
Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Mountain View, their record is now 14-15.
As of now, neither Discovery nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
