Football Recap: Central Bucks East Starts Season with Victory at Home

Central Bucks East took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed a 20-14 win over the Ridley Raiders. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 20-7 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Michael Price had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 168 yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 132 rushing yards dating back to last season. Alexander White got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Bucks East is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Cheltenham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridley, they will take on Lower Merion at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The match will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
