Winfield put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Holt Indians a 6-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Winfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Holt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winfield will welcome Fort Zumwalt South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.67 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Holt, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Orchard Farm at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
