Softball Recap: Chamblee Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chamblee can now relate to. They came up short against the Seckinger Jaguars on Tuesday, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 on Monday.

Chamblee has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. As for Seckinger, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-9.

Chamblee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seckinger, they will square off against Effingham County at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
