Baseball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Spring Valley lost against Cabell Midland back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Timberwolves took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The matchup marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brody Spencer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Cabell Midland, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will head out to take on Point Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cabell Midland, they will venture away from home to square off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
