The Jenkins Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Jenkins is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Jenkins proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 16) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Bryan County. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since February 26th.

Ronald Dunham made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, Marquis Bush was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
