Football Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Osborne extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 69-0 loss at the hands of the Hillgrove Hawks. The Cardinals lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 30-3 score last time.

As for Hillgrove, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. That looming 69-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Donovan Mack was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 95 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Jabari Green was another key player, rushing for 24 yards and one score.
