Basketball Recap: Norwin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Connellsville last Thursday, Norwin came back down to earth. The Norwin Knights came up short against the North Catholic Trojans on Friday, falling 71-49. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Norwin's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwin will welcome Shaler Area at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for North Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Pine-Richland at 2:00 p.m.
