Basketball Game Preview: Aptos Mariners vs. Jefferson Grizzlies

The Aptos Mariners will head out on the road to face off against the Jefferson Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Aptos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.

Last Tuesday, Aptos earned a 47-35 win over Capuchino.

Aptos' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabby Wickham led the charge by scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Laurel Southall, who scored 14 points.

Meanwhile, Jefferson took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They put the hurt on El Cerrito with a sharp 56-34 victory.

The losses dropped Aptos to 1-1 and Capuchino to 0-2.
