Basketball Game Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

Amador hasn't had much luck against Liberty Ranch recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Amador Buffaloes just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 5:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Amador really took it to Bradshaw Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-16 win. The Buffaloes pushed the score to 44-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the The Pride cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch had already won 16 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 17 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Diamondbacks as they made off with a 61-39 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Liberty Ranch pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.1 points. As for Amador, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Amador was dealt a bruising 68-10 defeat at the hands of Liberty Ranch in their previous meeting on January 10th. Can Amador avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
