Soccer Game Preview: Vista PEAK Prep vs. Denver North

The Vista PEAK Prep Bison will head out to face off against the Denver North Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Vista PEAK Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Denver East on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Angels. While losing is never fun, Vista PEAK Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Denver East are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Denver North waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Raiders. Owen Clough was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Vista PEAK Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Denver North, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-2.

Vista PEAK Prep beat Denver North 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
