Basketball Recap: Chino Hills Huskies vs. Rancho Cucamonga Cougars
After flying high against St. Lucy's last Wednesday, Chino Hills came back down to earth. The Chino Hills Huskies lost to the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars on the road by a 45-30 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Chino Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Promise Clark posted two points along with 15 rebounds and three steals. Those 15 boards gave Clark a new career-high. Kaylee Salce was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Chino Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
