Softball Game Preview: Jones County Greyhounds vs. Ola Mustangs

Jones County hasn't had much luck against Ola recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Greyhounds will square off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Jones County got the win against Stockbridge by a conclusive 22-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Ola never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Hampton 16-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jones County's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Ola, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Jones County couldn't quite finish off Ola in their previous meeting back in September and fell 5-3. Can the Greyhounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
