Basketball Game Preview: Del Campo Cougars vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Del Campo Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Del Campo ended up a good deal behind River Valley and lost 53-34. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 12-8 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last game, Twelve Bridges made sure to put some points up on the board against Roseville on Tuesday. Twelve Bridges enjoyed a cozy 59-43 victory over Roseville. The Raging Rhinos have beaten the Tigers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Del Campo better keep an eye on Aram Sneef. She was instrumental in Twelve Bridges' win, going 9-for-18 on her way to 23 points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds Sneef has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashtyn Magee, who put up six points along with 12 boards and five blocks.

Twelve Bridges smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Twelve Bridges' record now sits at 16-8. As for Del Campo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Del Campo took a serious blow against Twelve Bridges in their previous meeting back in January, falling 54-21. Can Del Campo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
