Baseball Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Chilton's offense. They fell just short of the Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chilton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Chilton will challenge Roncalli at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Oakfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
