Basketball Recap: Fulton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fulton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 22-18 win over the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Loss or not, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences got some senior leadership from Lara Ledesma and Allison Orantes. Ledesma posted seven points, while Orantes had seven points. That was a full 38.9% of Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' points, marking the 11th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Fulton has already played their next contest, a 54-8 defeat against Sherman Oaks CES on the 1st. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-39 loss against Vaughn on the 1st.
