Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grayson Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by just one run.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Grayson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Heritage will face off against Alcovy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grayson will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' matchup: after the Patriots face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Grayson again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
