Basketball Game Preview: Livermore Cowboys vs. San Ramon Valley Wolves

Livermore is 2-8 against San Ramon Valley since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Livermore Cowboys will head out to challenge the San Ramon Valley Wolves at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Livermore lost to Amador Valley at home by a 35-20 margin. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley entered their tilt with Carondelet on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They snuck past the Cougars with a 59-55 win.

San Ramon Valley pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Livermore, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Livermore couldn't quite finish off San Ramon Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can Livermore avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
