Baseball Recap: Northview Comes Up Short

Northview came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Druid Hills Red Devils, falling 16-5.

Northview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Forney, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Northview has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. The victory (which was Druid Hills' third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Northview will head out to challenge Druid Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Druid Hills, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against West Forsyth at 1:00 p.m. Druid Hills will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
