Football Recap: Marcus Has No Trouble Against Braswell + How To Watch

Marcus won the last time they faced Braswell and things went their way on Friday too. The Marauders put the hurt on the Bengals with a sharp 42-21 victory. Given the Marauders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Bengals are ranked 303rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Colton Nussmeier, who threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Luke Susko was Nussmeier's top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Marcus now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Braswell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marcus will square off against Guyer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Marauders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Braswell, they will face off against Flower Mound at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bengals will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
