Basketball Game Preview: Warner Wildcats vs. Hamilton Bobcats

The Warner Wildcats will head out to take on the Hamilton Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Warner duked it out with Horizon Prep on Friday. The Wildcats snuck past the Lions with a 35-31 win. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Lions on their court since December 8, 2018.

Lexi Holt was her usual excellent self, going 11-for-14 en route to 28 points. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least 17 points.

Meanwhile, Hamilton posted their closest victory since December 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They skirted past Warner 38-36. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Warner picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Hamilton, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-6.

Warner couldn't quite finish off Hamilton when the teams last played on Wednesday and fell 38-36. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
