Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Monterey Trail proved: they limited Inderkum to a paltry 1.7 yards per carry. Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Folsom). They really took it to Downey for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-34 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Knights are ranked 171st).
