Football Recap: Onaga Comes Up Short

Onaga lost against Valley Heights back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffaloes came up short against the Mustangs, falling 28-8.

Ryder Kolterman threw for 111 yards and one TD. Luke Poell was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards.

Onaga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Valley Heights, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Onaga will square off against rival Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Valley Heights is set to challenge their familiar foe Doniphan West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
