McLane had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Corcoran Panthers. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

McLane hit Corcoran with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Naima Marquez, Angeles Hernandez, and Alejandra Zamora.

McLane's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Corcoran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-9-1.

McLane will take on Tranquillity in a tournament on Friday. McLane is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season. As for Corcoran, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Orange Cove at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
