Soccer Recap: Yosemite Comes Up Short

Yosemite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Paso Robles Bearcats. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Bearcats are ranked 129th).

Yosemite's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Paso Robles, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Yosemite wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against McLane on the 9th. As for Paso Robles, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Templeton on the 11th.
