Cleveland put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 57-0 victory over the Clovis Wildcats. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Storm's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Wildcats are ranked 28th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cleveland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Hatch, who threw for 273 yards and six TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes. Those six passing touchdowns gave Hatch a new career-high. Jacob Maldonado also helped out as he racked up 127 receiving yards.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clovis, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Cleveland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-34 defeat against Las Cruces on the 12th. As for Clovis, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cibola at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
