Ella Moses leads Port Allegany to victory over Otto-Eldred

Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Otto-Eldred Terrors

The Port Allegany Gators extended their postseason success on Monday against the Otto-Eldred Terrors. They came out on top against the Terrors by a score of 45-36. The victory was just what Port Allegany needed coming off of a 70-49 loss in their prior game.

Ella Moses was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kayleigha Dowell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.

Several Terrors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kate Rhinehart, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Rayel Hakes, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Port Allegany's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Otto-Eldred, they dropped their record down to 14-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Port Allegany will face off against North Clarion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Port Allegany focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday. Otto-Eldred does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
