It was a proper cat-fight when Chapel Hill challenged Westlake on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 15-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Chapel Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JR Asberry, who went 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Westlake, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Chapel Hill by a score of 19-0 later that day.
