Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Woodbridge Warriors, falling 52-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-16 two weeks ago.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Woodbridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University will square off against rival Northwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Woodbridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Irvine at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
