After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newport Central Catholic, Villa Madonna was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Owen County Rebels get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Villa Madonna might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight goals or more this season.

With the win, Villa Madonna broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Owen County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Villa Madonna is taking a road trip to challenge Ludlow at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Owen County, they will face off against Carroll County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
