Jeff Davis and Coffee are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2016, but likely not for long. The Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jeff Davis will be strutting in after a victory while Coffee will be coming in after a defeat.

Jeff Davis is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Telfair County on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Coffee unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Irwin County. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Coffee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Fender, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Coffee's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Jeff Davis, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-9.
