Basketball Recap: Meyersdale Comes Up Short

Meyersdale played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 59-34 to the Everett Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Everett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lyla Levy, who posted 13 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jade Colledge, who scored 16 points.

Meyersdale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Everett, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Meyersdale has already played their next game, a 70-44 loss against Berlin Brothersvalley on the 10th. As for Everett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-27 victory against Forbes Road on the 10th.
