Baseball Recap: Troup County Takes a Loss

Troup County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 8-3 to the Milton Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Troup County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Walker, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. Torreion Delaney also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Troup County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Milton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Troup County is taking a road trip to face off against Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodward Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Milton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Denmark at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
