Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Live Oak Lions. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Williams lost, don't look at Evelyn Guevara. Despite the final result, she posted nine points. Giselle Torres Salazar was another key player, putting up six points.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Live Oak, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rio Vista the next time they take the court. Williams will head out to face Rio Vista at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Live Oak will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
