Cheniyah Jackson put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in October of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Jackson's strong effort led South Effingham over Statesboro and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
