Softball Recap: Islands Comes Up Short

Islands fell victim to Southeast Bulloch and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Yellow Jackets. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Islands' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Southeast Bulloch, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Islands is set to face off against their familiar foe Jenkins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast Bulloch will take on rival Long County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Yellow Jackets 1.5, the Blue Tide 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
