Football Game Preview: Uniontown Eagles vs. St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers

Uniontown is 0-7 against St. Mary's-Colgan since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Uniontown after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 40-18 to Southeast. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Lancers since September 6, 2019.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Colter Powell, who rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 86 yards and one TD. Uniontown also got a significant boost from Gaige Lape, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's-Colgan put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Pleasanton 63-7. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
