Softball Recap: Hebron Christian Find Success

Hebron Christian extended their postseason success on Saturday against Prince Avenue Christian. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 victory over the Wolverines. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Ainsley Trenbeath was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Raysor, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Hebron Christian's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 31-5.

Hebron Christian has already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Wesleyan on the 1st. Prince Avenue Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
