Soccer Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin lost against Academy of Richmond County back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Baldwin came up short against Academy of Richmond County, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Baldwin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Academy of Richmond County are ranked 86th).

This is the second loss in a row for Baldwin and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Academy of Richmond County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Coincidentally, Baldwin and Academy of Richmond County will both be playing West Laurens the next time they take the pitch. Baldwin will host West Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Academy of Richmond County will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
