McGill-Toolen waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Davidson Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-12.

Emmy Beech paced McGill-Toolen's offense, picking up nine kills. Beech were helped by Emmy Littrell and Makayla Johnson, who contributed nine assists each. Littrell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

McGill-Toolen's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Davidson, they dropped their record down to 12-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGill-Toolen will host Daphne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davidson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Baldwin County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
