Football Recap: Cedar Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cedar Hill dropped to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Waxahachie Indians. The shutout was out of character for the Longhorns seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

As for Waxahachie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Waxahachie's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kohen Brown, who picked up 114 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Another back making a difference was Taylen Strange, who rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown.

Cedar Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 46-9 defeat against DeSoto on the 23rd. As for Waxahachie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 49-0 victory against Skyline on the 23rd.
