Softball Recap: Le Mars Beats Sioux City North for Their Fifth Straight Win

Le Mars came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sioux City North Stars by a score of 7-4. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 12-7 victory the Stars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in July of 2024.

Le Mars pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sioux City North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
