Baseball Game Preview: Rockdale County Bulldogs vs. Spalding Jaguars

The Rockdale County Bulldogs will challenge the Spalding Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rockdale County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Monroe Area, falling 11-2. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Purple Hurricanes since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to Whitewater.

Spalding's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Rockdale County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.
