Baseball Recap: B O L D Warriors vs. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons
B O L D had lost seven straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 7-13 to make it eight. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.
As for Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games.
For Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City's part, Reagan Elton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
