Basketball Game Preview: Arvin Bears vs. Foothill Trojans

The Arvin Bears will face off against the Foothill Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Arvin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-31 to Golden Valley.

Meanwhile, Foothill came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 34-30 win over the Stars. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly four points.

Foothill pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Arvin, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-13.

Arvin was able to grind out a solid win over Foothill when the teams last played back in January, winning 38-31. Does Arvin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Foothill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
