Soccer Recap: Linfield Christian Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Linfield Christian faced off against Bonita on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bonita Bearcats who were credited with the win. The Bonita Bearcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Linfield Christian Lions' three. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Linfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Bonita, they pushed their record up to 5-7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linfield Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-City Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Tri-City Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Linfield Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bonita, they will face off against Montclair at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
