After a string of four wins, James Lick's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 5-1 to the Hill Falcons. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

James Lick's goal came courtesy of Leilani Cortez, who's now up to 23 this season.

James Lick's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Hill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Lick will head out to challenge San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. James Lick is facing San Jose at the right time seeing as San Jose is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Overfelt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hill knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Overfelt likes a good challenge.
